- Example Activities:
– clicking on correct melody when a sample is sounded,
– clicking an on-screen piano keyboard as notes appear on a staff,
– tapping a rhythm on the mouse after the computer has sounded an example, and
– listening to a melody and playing it back by clicking an on-screen piano keyboard. - Activities are progressive (but are not grouped together). The subsequent variety leads to a high level of motivation among the students.
- Covers a variety of concepts such as distinguishing between rhythms, key signatures, meter, musical terms and terrific aural work with intervals and melodies.
