The power of Central Control
Central Control is the powerhouse that ties the BRAINtastic! modules together. Central Control is included with every BRAINtastic! title.
Central Control allows users to:
- Select content from the installed Content Modules
- Select installed Reward Games to play
- Work on "Questions Only"
- View statistics of work attempted
- View actual questions completed correctly and incorrectly
- View High Scores from Reward Games
- View installed titles
- Change the Work/Play ratio to cater for individual needs
- Pre-select and lock content
- Create and manage records for multiple users
- Import class groups
- Export user statistics

Work/Play Ratio
At the heart of BRAINtastic! is the idea that children complete Educational Content and are rewarded with time spent playing a Reward Game. For this to work effectively it is important for goals to be relevant and achievable. Some children have short attention spans, others long. Some children read easily, others struggle. BRAINtastic! allows parents and teachers to vary the amount of work to be completed before a Reward Game is accessed!
User Statistics
Once a child has worked on any educational content, either as part of the 'Questions Only' quiz, or to earn Reward Game time, their statistics are recorded. The 'User Stats' screen can be easily accessed to see how the child is doing with the educational content. Each individual question answered can be seen and reviewed.
View Questions
Individual questions can be viewed allowing teachers and parents to see specific questions a child gets right or wrong including those where repeated errors have been made.
Group Functions
Many settings can be modified for groups of students, rather then only one at a time. Parents and teachers can add, delete and edit names as well as lock and view content.
Export Statistics
With BRAINtastic! parents and teachers can export a text file of the user statistics into a spreadsheet in order to generate progress reports, etc.
Import Groups
This function allows a teacher or parent to import many names - such as a class list - into BRAINtastic!
