How the accrued cash works for for schools

Each purchase a parent makes accrues 20% of its value to the nominated school’s eCSP account. If your school Actively Participates in the eCSP then, subject to the simple conditions below, the school will be able to claim the accrued CASH or use it to purchase licences of EdAlive product at greatly reduced rates.
To claim the accrued CASH your school will need to:

  • Actively Participate in the eCSP
  • Have accrued CASH of $50 or more in the past 6 months
  • Accrued amounts older than 6 months expire and cannot be claimed.

How does our school Actively Participate in the eCSP?

For your school to have Actively Participated in the eCSP and qualify to claim the accrued CASH your school will need to have:

  • Nominated a staff member as the eCSP Liaison to communicate with EdAlive about the eCSP and receive information on its conduct and accrual of CASH. It is important that the eCSP Liaison uses a reliable school email address that is checked regularly. If you still need to nominate then you can do so here.
  • Actively promoted the eCSP through the school electronic or printed newsletter using our suggested text or similar wording you created. We recommend that the eCSP is mentioned in school communications as often as possible. For the best results regular mention helps. Suggested newsletter text is available here.

Your school will also need to have done any one of the following:

  • Place a prominent link to the eCSP on your school web site. Banners and links are available here.
  • Downloaded, photocopied and distributed to the school families a copy of the black-and-white 1-page eCSP Parent Information Leaflet (PIL) at least once in the 6 months preceding the claim. You can also attach the PIL to your school email newsletter. The PIL documents are available here.
  • Used any other creative way you can think of to let parents know about the eCSP.

How to Claim Accrued Cash

 

Email notification of accrued cash balance

Each month we will email your school’s nominated eCSP Liaison person to let them know of the current accrued cash balance.

Active participation

Only schools that Actively Participate in the eCSP are able to claim the accrued cash.

Procedure for claiming accrued cash

The email informing you of the accrued cash balance will have a printable eCSP Accrued Cash Claim form attached. To complete this form you will need to demonstrate the ways in which the school has actively participated in the eCSP, sign the form yourself and have it counter-signed by the school Principal. You will then need to fax or post the completed form to us. We will then draw a cheque made pay able to the school and mail it back attention to the Principal.
