eCSP Terms and Conditions
How the eCSP benefits accrue
- A set percentage of the value of orders placed by parents through www.edalive.com/ecsp accrues to the account of the school nominated by the parent at the time of ordering
- The percentage of each parent order to accrue to a school account is set by EdAlive and may be changed at any time and without notice
- No orders placed with EdAlive, apart from those placed through the eCSP online ordering system, qualify for the eCSP CASH accrual for schools
- Parents must nominate a school through the eCSP online ordering system at the time of ordering for a benefit to accrue to a school
- Parents may request that EdAlive add schools missing from the eCSP online listing however only recognised schools will be added and EdAlive reserves the right to refuse to add a particular school
- Home Educators may access the eCSP and its discounts by nominating “Home Educator” in place of a school, however no cash will accrue to any school or beneficiary
How schools are notified of accrued cash
- From time to time EdAlive will email a statement of accrued CASH benefits to schools together with instructions on how to claim the benefit
- It is the responsibility of the school to ensure that EdAlive is supplied with an appropriate email address to send the notification to and the name of an appropriate contact person within the school. Schools may inform EdAlive of this email address and contact person by using the form on the EdAlive web site or by mailing, faxing or calling EdAlive
- Whilst EdAlive will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the email and contact person for each school is correct it cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of this information or the non-delivery of such emails
Conditions to be met for accrued CASH to be claimed
- Only schools that actively support the eCSP are able to claim accrued benefits. Active eCSP schools are those that:
- Have nominated an eCSP Liaison person together with an active, regularly checked email address
- Actively promote the eCSP through the school electronic or printed newsletter using our suggested text or similar wording they create
- And at least any one of the following:
- Place a prominent link to the eCSP on the school web site, blog or Facebook page
- Download, photocopy and distribute the B&W eCSP Parent Information Leaflet from www.edalive.com/ecsp/school
- Any other creative way of informing parents about the eCSP
- Have accrued CASH of $50 or more in a 6 month period
- Accrued amounts older than 6 months expire and cannot be claimed
Claiming accrued benefits
- Schools must lodge a claim for the accrued benefit in a timely manner
- EdAlive will not honour late claims or claims that seek to cover benefits accruing over a period longer than 6 months
- EdAlive will email schools with a link to a downloadable PDF of the eCSP claim form
- To complete the eCSP claim form the eCSP Liasion person will need to demonstrate the school’s active support for the eCSP. The form will need to be signed by the contact person and the Principal of the school
- The school will be able to elect to receive the payment as a cheque or to use the benefit to purchase EdAlive software for the school at discounted prices
- If the option for a cheque is taken then it will be mailed to the school attention to the Principal
Resolution of disputes
- If a dispute arises EdAlive will make reasonable efforts to resolve it but retains the right to make a final decision in all matters regarding the eCSP
