Volcanic Panic is based on the UK National Curriculum (Key Stages 1-3) and designed to develop fluency in basic maths skills across Numbers & Calculations, strengthening both computational skills and conceptual understanding.

Learning numeracy basics will put your child on the pathway to success with a solid maths foundation.

Volcanic Panic questions challenge the mathematical processes that pupils need to apply their content knowledge – this enhances reasoning skills and develops flexible problem solving strategies.

For Teaching

Variety of learning styles: Volcanic Panic caters for a variety of learning styles. Different question formats ensure topics are covered from various angles.

Maths activities have been created to help teachers assess whether pupils have met specific curriculum and teaching outcomes for Numbers & Calculations (Key Stages 1-3).

User-management & record keeping: The game-save option enables multiple game sessions, networkable administration and record-keeping covering up to 2,048 users and up to 512 groups!

Custom Content: Specific maths categories or levels may be selected to drill individual players (eg Subtraction & Division). Practice one level or category of maths questions, or choose as many as you want. All categories and levels can be separately activated or deactivated.

Each player works from their own specific set of maths questions. This means that Jenny (Grade 2) can challenge Alvin (Grade 6) in the same game and have the same chance of winning.

Questions may also be presented outside gameplay in the 'Questions Only' section.
