Collection of information from Children
We do not collect information that allows us to identify children individually. We do not communicate with children by email nor does EdAlive Learning allow children using the system to communicate with us by email.
EdAlive Learning does record links between children’s accounts, teachers and parents as nominated by the relevant teacher or parent and the email address of those parents and teachers. EdAlive Learning records some of each child’s activity within EdAlive Learning. A parent or guardian of that child may contact us to have the information deleted from our records by contacting our Privacy Officer by email or by writing Privacy Officer, EdAlive, PO Box 658, Armidale NSW 2350 Australia.

COPPA Compliance – A SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS:
For the safety of all children EdAlive Learning adheres to the USA is Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). Please help us protect your child’s privacy by instructing them never to provide personal information on this site or any other, or within any software registration process, without your permission.

Quotes from Children
The quotes on this website attributed to children under the age of 13 have not been obtained online and are used with the full knowledge and permission of the child’s parents or teacher. If quoted children’s identities are protected by quoting only their first name and age.

Information collected
When users browse edalive.com our WebServer logs the following information for statistical purposes: server address, top level domain name (for example .com), pages accessed and downloads, previous site visited, type of browser.

Access to information collected
EdAlive Learning will not make any attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our WebServer’s logs.

Use and disclosure of information collected
EdAlive Learning will record your email address if you send us a message or fill in a form and identify yourself as being a parent or a teacher and therefore more than 13 years old or older.
Home use email addresses: Home users must supply EdAlive Learning with an email address as a condition of establishing a EdAlive Learning Account. We will, from time to time communicate with you at this email address in regard to the operation of EdAlive Learning. You may opt out from receiving such emails at any time however you may miss out on receiving information critical to the ongoing operation of EdAlive Learning.
Teacher’s email addresses: Teachers must supply EdAlive Learning with an email address as a condition of establishing a EdAlive Learning Teacher Account. We will, from time to time communicate with you at this email address in regard to the operation of EdAlive Learning. You may opt out from receiving such emails at any time however if you do so we will need to suspend the operation of your teacher account and all of the child accounts linked to your account as your email address is used as your ID and it is necessary for us to communicate with you regarding the operation of your teacher’s account.


Any information supplied will only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be passed on to a third party or disclosed for any other purpose without your consent.
