Armidale is a vibrant community, with a population of 25,000, located in the heart of the New England Tablelands in Northern New South Wales, Australia. Armidale is a unique rural centre with a university, a variety of high quality schools and colleges, historic monuments, museums, galleries, colourful pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, bookshops, and great shopping. It is surrounded by the state’s most magnificent national parks and excellent grazing lands. Armidale is Australia’s highest-altitude city (980 metres), conveniently located mid-way between the major cities and vital populations of Sydney and Brisbane.
