NAPLAN Spelling Simulator now working

NAPLAN Spelling Simulator

Spelling Force now incorporates a highly anticipated NAPLAN Spelling Simulator that closely approximates the spelling section of the NAPLAN Online tests.

Preparing students for high-stakes testing can be a challenge, particularly when it comes to the specific interface and testing style they will face. To solve this, we have embedded the powerful Spelling Force Automated Adaptive Learning engine into a close approximation of the official NAPLAN spelling test interface.

Unlimited NAPLAN-Style Spelling Practice

We stress that this simulator is not an ACARA publication. It is designed to closely resemble the Conventions of Language section of the official NAPLAN simulator available at the NAPLAN Public Demonstration Site.

However, there is a major difference: the official ACARA demonstration site only provides 8 set sample spelling questions. The Spelling Force NAPLAN simulator allows for an unlimited number of spelling questions. This facilitates endless practice of the test format, allowing students to master the testing interface before exam day without ever running out of fresh content.

The Adaptive Advantage: Spelling at Their Own Level

Unlike static PDF worksheets or rigid practice tests, our simulator dynamically responds to students, just as is the case in the actual NAPLAN test.

By utilizing Spelling Force’s Automated Adaptive Levelling system, the spelling lists automatically adjust to each student’s ability level. This means every student is uniquely challenged and extended with spelling words that match their specific capabilities, ensuring they build confidence and vocabulary without feeling overwhelmed.

Targeted Practice for Years 3, 5, 7, and 9

Whether you are focusing on early primary or high school preparation, the simulator gives educators complete control. Teachers can easily utilize the massive Spelling Force Built-In Spelling Lists to manually select and assign targeted vocabulary content specifically calibrated for Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 levels.

By practicing “find the missing word” and “correct the highlighted misspelling” formats year-round, students can focus purely on demonstrating their spelling knowledge rather than navigating an unfamiliar testing environment.
