A new online exam for South Australian students
The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a modern, internationally-recognised secondary school qualification designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and personal capabilities to successfully participate in our fast-paced global society.
In 2018 the South Australian Department of Education introduced an online electronic version of SACE as an electronic examination for Stage 2 English Literary Studies (ELS). The SACE electronic examinations programme will expand to most schools in 2019, with Modern History and Psychology joining English Literary Studies using the new format.
Advanced typing skills give a clear advantage
As much of the input and responses to the electronic exam require typed responses those students with touch typing skills are at a clear advantage in this test format.
